Working with a trip co-facilitator
Working with a co-facilitator is one way to find an ally and delegate facilitation tasks.
There are several advantages to working with a co-facilitator. It could be:
- Someone who fully understands your situation
- Someone to bounce ideas off of/brainstorm with
- Someone who shares the intense cognitive load with you
- Someone who provides support and encouragement
Are you able to choose your own co-facilitator? If so, the following traits are considered desirable qualities in an FSA partner:
- Someone you trust and who trusts you in return (in other words, someone with whom you have relational trust)
- Someone who shares your pedagogical values
- Someone who complements your skill set
